DIN EN 1.4541 Stainless Steel X6CrNiTi18-10 Material Datasheet, Specification, Properties

DIN EN 1.4541 Stainless Steel (X6CrNiTi18-10 Material)現(xiàn)貨價(jià)格查詢

DIN EN 1.4541 stainless steel (X6CrNiTi18-10) is a variant version of 1.4301. The addition of titanium stabilizes carbides without sensitization, because titanium forms more stable carbides than chromium. These carbides remove carbon from the solid solution and prevent the precipitation of chromium carbide. Therefore, this material is also called stabilized stainless steel. 1.4541 material has high corrosion resistance, good weldability and cold formability.

1.4541 Material Heat Treatment

The following is material 1.4541 stainless steel heat treatment, such as hot forming, solution annealing.

For solution annealing of 1.4541 material, if the heat treatment is performed in a continuous furnace, it’s usually preferable to specify an upper limit of the temperature range or even exceed it, and cooling should be sufficiently rapidly to avoid precipitation.

DIN EN 10088-3 1200 to 900 1020 to 1120

Welding

EN 1.4541 stainless steel has excellent weldability. All common welding processes can be used with or without filler metal. If filler metal is required, 1.4316 and 1.4551 are recommended. The maximum interpass temperature during welding is 200 °C. No pre-heating and post-weld heat treatment is required. Due to the addition of titanium, it has excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion and is not affected by the thickness of the workpiece.

Corrosion Resistance

The PREN value of 1.4541 steel is about 17-19. It still has the ability to resist intergranular corrosion after welding, but it is not suitable for long-term use in seawater to avoid causing pitting corrosion.

Use & Application

Equipment and parts for the food and chemical industry.
